Adam Gorlitsky GOT LEGS!
Charleston, SC
ReEnabled Athlete | Storyteller | Social Entrepreneur
My name is Adam Gorlitsky, and I am walking One-Million Steps in road races throughout the country to raise awareness and funds for my 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit organization, I GOT LEGS. Our mission is to help individuals within the disabled community gain access to an improved quality of life and to support improvements to life changing technology.
On the night of December 30, 2005, I was involved in a catastrophic car accident, which left me paralyzed from the waist down with a spinal cord injury. My doctors believed I would never walk again. However, 10 years later on August 3, 2015, my life changed forever when I was given the chance to explore new groundbreaking technology, a ReWalk Robotic Exoskeleton.
Since this life changing moment I’ve walked more than 270,000 steps in over 35 road races throughout the country. Please stay tuned for more updates!
